Enjoy the wonderful Swiss & Italian Alps by opting for a HALF Tour Mont Blanc which takes you over the Col Grand Ferret in to the Italian Alps, go along Bonatti Balcony path to Courmayeur. Views of Mont Blanc mountains from the Italian side. The Bonatti Balcony walk is a highlight for mountains views on the Italian side. The Swiss side of Col Grand Ferret goes up from La Fouly to La Peule and up over the mountain pass via Col Grand Ferret into Italy with views of Val Ferret and Feny. Sleep 3 nights in Italy & 3 nights in Switzerland. Accommodation is alpine refuges and 4 star hotels in big towns. All meals are included. Drinks are excluded. A UK qualified International Mountain Leader who speaks some French / German / Spanish is provided as the trek leader. Food in mountain huts and alpine refuges is included as per set menus, offerings as per the alpine huts / refuge, usually this includes a continental breakfast, dinner is usually a starter, main course and a desert. A picnic take out lunch is provided or a restaurant enroute when available. Drinks are excluded - there is a bar in most establishments to enjoy bottles of wine, beer, sodas as per your own desires. ITINERARY: Day 1: La Fouly to Bonatti Balcony via Col Grand Ferret. Sleep in Val Ferret, Italy. Day 2: Bonatti Balcony to Courmayeur. Sleep in Courmayeur, Italy. Day 3: Courmayeur and Val Feny in Italy. Sleep in Courmayeur, Italy. Day 4: Val Ferret in Italy to Val Ferret in Switzerland - down Col Petit Ferret. Sleep in Val Ferret, Switzerland. Day 5: Val Ferret in Switzerland to Champex Lake, Boivine and Col Forclaz. Sleep in Col Forclaz, Switzerland. Day 6: Col Forclaz to Fenetre d'Arpette and down to Champex. Sleep in Champex, Switzerland. Start: La Fouly in Switzerland. 09:00 meet up in La Fouly (Under Auberge Glacier outside the supermarket). End: Champex in Switzerland. Last night dinner, bed and breakfast is included on day 6.
