Meet in Switzerland at La Fouly village supermarket below glacier Nouva in La Fouly to embark on a trip of a life time with Mont Blanc Trips. The International Mountain Leader from Mont Blanc Trips will accompany you and lead the way up the Swiss mountains, down into Italy and back via the French Alps to La Fouly. We trek at 3-4km an hour, we use good hotels and alpine refuges, we stay at campsites too in the mountains so you are always carrying a large rucksack a 1 man tent & sleeping bag for an emergency. The trip includes food, drink & accommodation (no extra drinks or food are included - to allow people to make extra personal choices - so it is the standard offering for food and drink). ITINERARY: DAY 1: La Fouly to Col Ferret. Head up into Val Ferret into beautiful Switzerland, see alpine pastures, walk across mountains to cross the high pass of Grand Ferret into Italy, descend into Italian Alps towards Courmayeur. Enjoy superb views, alpine scenery, walk through Val Ferret. Sleep at Val Ferret refuge. DAY 2: Continue trekking in Val Ferret behind the Mont Blanc mountains to reach Courmayeur. Italian meal out in Courmayeur. Sleep nr. Courmayeur. DAY 3: Very early start to reach France. Cross Col de Seigne into France go towards Chapieux. Admire Mont Blanc from Italian side and French side. Sleep in Chapieux. DAY 4: Head up to Col de Bon Homme and descend to Contamines through isolated rocky mountains. Go across rock boulders and cross green valleys to arrive in the alpine town of Contamines. Sleep in Contamines. DAY 5: Go up to Bellevue and over to Les Houches on Chamonix side. Sleep in Chamonix Valley. DAY 6: Ascend Aiguilette Les Houches, Le Brevent and go across to Flegere and down to Argentiere. Sleep in Chamonix Valley. DAY 7: Trek uphill to Lac Blanc and down to Col Montets. Sleep in Le Buet. Day 8: Trek from Le Buet via Col de Balme (or via Vallorcine & Catogne) to reach Col Forclaz and go to Champex in Switzerland. Sleep in Champex. Day 9: Trek to Champex lake, Issert, Praz Fort and La Fouly in Switzerland. Arrive mid-afternoon.
