Tour Mont Blanc - introduction: The Mont Blanc Massif sits between France, Italy, and Switzerland. The TMB is for Tour Mont Blanc. It is a circular hike which enters 3 different countries, it goes around the Mont Blanc Massif, this trip does not summit the Mont Blanc itself but hikes around it through the 3 countries where the Massif Mont Blanc sits so you see the mountains from all angles. The MAXIMUS product maximises the fine mountain engineering experiences on offer: Skyway in Courmayeur, Italy Aiguille de Midi in Chamonix, France VerticAlp, Switzerland Tramway Mont Blanc, France Funiculaire Bellevue, France (all included) This maximises viewing mountain potential. To lighten the load for the Tour Mont Blanc circular hike known as the TMB) this is the product with assistance for luggage via taxis, and a few optional taxi rides to reach the highlight sections with no effort and only a 40L day pack It remains a challenge. The foot paths go up and down, can be exhilarating and steep, some days are gentle and sublime. The MAXIMUS includes 2 rest days on a 12 day hike to take in glaciers at La Fouly and Courmayeur. The hiking days require sustained effort. Should you do it? Most definitely. It's a beautiful all body work out and 2 days rest in between make it a goer for most folk. The walk is a beautiful journey and this product offering allows you to do it with lifts, a group, and an International Mountain leader guides the way.
