DATE OPTIONS: 17th May 2024, 19th August 2024, 20th August 2024, 21st August 2024, 16th October 2024. SUMMARY: Beautiful steep start in alpine forest start, walk under pine trees towards open ground at Aiguilles Possettes to see the Mont Blanc and mountains all around you in the Chamonix valley. From Aiguilles Posettes see across into Switzerland to the Dam Emosson. Enjoy the path through the heather covered rocky top. Admire the Mont Blanc Massif in one direction and into Switzerland in another direction. Descent a little then go up a wide track to reach the refreshment point at Col de Balme, visit the historic Refuge Col de Balme for lunch and then step into Switzerland over the mountain border point. Visit alpine lake. Descend to Le Tour and Montroc. Return to Chamonix. INCLUDED: 1 course lunch main dish only. Sweet courses not included. Buy your own drinks.
