Walk from rocky alpine basin up rocky paths towards Mountain Refuge Albert 1ere
Service Description
Demanding day walk going up to the glacier edge at a gentle pace. Starting from a beautiful alpine basin with alpine flowers around the route follows a narrow & rocky path to the enormous mountain Refuge called Albert 1ere that is situated just next to the Glacier le Tour. This is a fine resting place next to the Glacier to view enormous mountain peaks standing aside the Mont Blanc such as Aiguille de Chardonnet & Aiguille Argentière mass of rock, the path ascends from the basin up through mountain terrain and contours around the mountain and cliff side and across rocky terrain. The route includes some stretching rocky steps that some walkers may find awkward or intimidating about 2/3rds of the way up.
