DATE OPTIONS: 20th June 2024, 2nd September 2024, 14th October 2024, 20th October 2024, 21st October 2024, 28th October 2024. SUMMARY: Embark on an unforgettable day of alpine nature discovery above Chamonix. Visit one of the best Mont Blanc view points - Le Brevent. Walk up hill all the way through pine trees and on narrow trails. There are a couple of rocky sections with a hand rail to help you up. Enjoy stunning mountain scenery as you look down the Chamonix valley, see European alpine geology, French glaciers, summer glacial lakes, snow covered mountain tops, alpine meadows, mountain rocky trails, narrow alpine paths, woodland nature and flowery meadows. Refreshment at Bellachat Mountain Refuge or 3 course picnic lunch enroute if mountain hut is closed. All effort for this trip is on foot and requires a day pack to be carried with 2 litres of water in. The trip does not use lifts. Slow and steady pace to enjoy the experience as you walk.
