SUMMARY: Crystal Museum. Discover Chamonix on a town centre guided tour. Take the Chamonix Valley viewing train along Chamonix Valley for a short walk and see the Mont Blanc. Stop off at ChamonIce cream Bar. Walk around taking in the history of Chamonix and the geography of the valley. Early evening drink at wine tasting Cave. No lunch included. CRYSTAL MUSEUM: Visit the fabulous Crystal Museum in Chamonix centre to see fabulous crystals. Understand the Mont Blanc rocks and geology, see granite, schist, gneiss, quartz crystal displays. Admire colourful gems from the International crystal collection in 5 different rooms. Mineralogy specialists have displayed French Alpine crystal treasures and collected a spectacular International collection for others to see and discover. Rocks collected from the Mont Blanc Massif mountains from French, Swiss and Italian guides up in the glaciers and rocks are the main attraction in the first main room where enormous crystals are visible. Museum visit doable in under 2 hours.
