Enjoy the Swiss & Italian Alps by opting for a HALF Tour Mont Blanc which takes you over the Col Grand Ferret into the Italian Alps along Bonatti Balcony path to Courmayeur with views of Mont Blanc mountains from the Italian side. Check out the 1 day Bonatti Balcony walk for more ohotos on the Italian side. The Swiss side of Col Grand Ferret goes up from La Fouly to La Peule and over the top of the mountain via Col Grand Ferret into Italy, to see the Italian side of Val Ferret. Accommodation is a bivvi bag & sleeping bag, an alpine refuge, and 4 star hotels. 5 nights are included and 6 days of walking in a group with a UK qualified International Mountain Leader who speaks French are provided. Lunch when not in the high mountain alpine refuges is flexible and offers great choice when in Courmayeur in Italy up to 50 Euros per person, the La Fouly supermarket & La Fouly bakery option for breakfasts which ensures a good choice up to 30 Swiss Francs per person for food & drink, and in Champex there is 1 bakery which offers a simple light trekker breakfast option for 15 Swiss Francs aswell as usual bakery offerings; bread, cakes, quiches and sandwiches, and tea and coffee selections up to 30 Swiss Francs. Food in the mountain huts and alpine refuges is included as per set menus and offerings of the alpine huts / refuges, usually this includes a continental breakfast like at Refuge Bonatti, or at Refuge Bertone a hot drink and biscuits, or bread and jam, then at dinner there is usually a starter, main course and desert. Water is available to drink. No other drinks or alcoholic drinks are included. There is a full bar available for those wishing to enjoy bottles of wine, beer, sodas. Extra food or drink at breakfast, lunch and dinner are outside of the product offering. A standard alpine hut offering is a usual offering for tourists due to mountain hut limitations. At lunch, the offering is a picnic from an alpine hut, which usually includes a sandwich, fruit and drink. For dinner, when not in the alpine refuge the standard budget for dinner is 40 Euros. No alcohol is included in the offering but choose freely as a daily eating allowance includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is unless the route or path options limit the choice when in the mountains so sometimes a food stock is carried in a back pack, it depends on the day and the route, and when using alpine huts the offering is fixed as per the hut chooses.
