A common alpine specimen often found on well draining soils that also frequents the coasts especially in the UK.
Dazzling blue flowers reach out to the light so incoming pollinators are interested as they buzz along their merry way.
The common viper bugloss lives in hope that one bee will stop to say hello and visit a white stamen on the way in to drink the nectar inside the flowers. There is always hope!
