Very thin strands of leaves at the base of the stem which is tall and long and smooth with several flowers on the end of a stem. Flowers grow well on limestone rock outcrops and enjoy the sun and some shelter from wind. It avoids woodlands and prefers rocky environments which are lowers down in middle mountain areas like the pre-Alps.
